Hello ! This is Poof !

Poof came to us a dirty and skinny brown dog but has since blossomed into a beautiful girl with a gorgeous reddish-brown coat. Each day, she becomes more inquisitive about these human things she's forced to hang out with, and over time she's gone from hiding to checking people out and sniffing them. Once she gets comfortable with someone, she gets very wiggly when she sees them and comes over to kiss their fingers. And with her favorite people, she wiggles so hard you think her butt will fall off, and those special few gets kisses on the lips!

While it takes Poof quite a while to warm up to new people, but she absolutely LOVES other dogs. Poof spent her entire life with dogs (she was surrendered with five others) and definitely prefers their company over humans. Actually, "prefer" is an understatement, because when Poof is in the presence of her doggie companions, she's been known to get crazy and party like a rock band in a hotel room, throwing stuff around, rearranging things and causing quite the ruckus. In the play yard, she does warp speed zoomies and likes to get into all kinds of rough and rowdy antics as she tumbles around with her doggie pals. Poof may have a medium to high energy level, but she will spend literally hours playing. And unlike some of her rock-star counterparts, Poof is fully house-trained.

Curious, playful, adorable and so full of potential, Poof wants nothing more than to be a normal dog, and she'd love a low traffic home with a nice secure yard and definitely one with another dog (or two or three or four...) to help her continue to build her confidence around people.
