Bubs is a sweet and shy guy who's starting to come out of his shell with the help of his friends at the shelter. With his beautiful coat, adorable puppy dog eyes and gentle nature, Bubs is a very endearing pup.

Bubs is house and crate-trained, seems to do very well on his own and hasn't shown any destructive tendencies. He feels very safe and cozy in his "bedroom" at the shelter, so he tends to hang out there. He's lived with dogs in his previous home and is tolerant of the other dogs' antics in playgroup, so he may benefit from social doggie sibling to help show him the ropes.

Bubs is shy with new people, but after a period of coaxing, quietly sitting in his presence and offering treats (Bubs loves his treats, especially cheese), he seems to relax and gets more accustomed to them. He enjoys the simple thing in life, like a warm blanket, gentle petting and watching the world go by. He's also making good progress on his leash training and even enjoys romping around the play yard.
